For those of you with a sweet tooth, this next recipe is sure to impress. It’s so rich and delicious that you’d swear it was bad for you, expect it isn’t. Here’s what you’ll need:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of freeze-dried strawberries
  • ½ tsp of vanilla extract (not essence – it tastes too artificial)
  • ¾ cup of desiccated coconut
  • 2 scoops of strawberry whey protein
  • ¼ cup of almond milk
  • 2.5 oz of dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)

Method:

  • In a bowl, place the strawberries, the protein, and the coconut, and give everything a good mix
  • Now, place in the almond milk and vanilla essence and combine until the mixture is thick, but runny.
  • Place into a Tupperware and chill in the freezer for 40 minutes
  • Remove from the freezer and cut into squares
  • Meanwhile, in a microwave, gently melt the chocolate, making sure not to burn it. Add a splash of almond milk to loosen the mixture
  • When melted, remove the chocolate and pour it over your protein bars to coat them
  • Place the bars into the refrigerator and leave for the chocolate to harden
